„And again as always, Aviarius planned again, like he did so often in the last two years, something evil, and of course were on our way to stop him.“

Team Go was in it's Jet, on the way to Aviarius' secret lair.
„What are you thinking about, sis?“ asked Hego, when he saw how Shego looking thoughtfully out the window, in the rear of the Jet.
„Nothing,“ she sighed. „I was just looking at the clouds. You better watch out that the plane won't crash.“

„At that time, Aviarius had installed some anti-aircraft armament at his nest, that's what he called his lair. We had some trouble one or two times with these.“

„Have you realized that you only communicate with us by quarreling? I mean, more than you ever did?“
„Maybe it's because you are annoying me?“
Shego was deadly earnest, but her brothers just began to laugh about this supposed playful remark.
„Oh sister, don't be so angry all the time. It will only give you worrylines,“ laughed Mego and bumped her with his elbow.

„For some reason, I became over the years a joke for my brothers. They did not take me seriously anymore. Maybe because I told them before every bigger mission that something would go wrong. And there was always something going wrong and it was always my brother's fault. But we were always be able to finish our missions anyway, which caused some damage to my credibility. Yes, in all these years we always caught the bad guys. I just wished that we just once did NOT walk into a more than obvious trap before. But my brothers were always interested in the final result only. And because they were also too stupid to recognize sarcasm, they thought everytime when I told them how much I hated them, I was just kidding.“

When Team Go arrived at Aviarius' lair, the discussions about the upcoming approach started again.
„For a change we could try to sneak through the window in the basement. It's cross-barred, but I don't think that it will be a problem for us.“
Shego mumbled.
„What did you say?“ wanted Mego to know.
„Nothing. I just think... we should try something all new. You go in and I stay here and provide you backup.“
„Scared?“
„No, but Aviarius won't expect something like that,“ she said bored.
Hego wrinkled his forehead thoughtfully.
„You could be right. What if we try something completely different and come from all sides? Mego, you go through the basement window. Shego crawls through the ventilation shafts, the twins take the sewers and I go through the front door.“
Shego sighed. „Whatever,“
Hego put his hand up for the Team Go - slogan. His brothers put their hands enthusiastically together, Shego not quite so enthusiastically, and almost all of them yelled „Goooooo Team Gooooooo!!!“
„We keep silent on the airwaves, unless somebody is in trouble or has found Aviarius. Good luck, everybody!“
The team members scattered in every direction. Only Shego stayed where she was, sat down on a rock, fetched a file and began to file the claws of her gloves.

„My plan was simple. I wanted to wait a few minutes and then just fly back home and leave forever. I couldn't do this if my brothers were home too. It was difficult to leave the Go Tower, without my brothers witnessing it. I already had a packed travel bag in my locker for months.“

After about 10 minutes, Shego got up, turned around and went to the Jet.

„I saw no reason why my brothers wouldn't make it this time without me.“

Shego just got into the jet, when she heard a radio message from Mego.
„Uhm, folks? I'm in trouble! I really need help!“
Shego ignored him. Less than two seconds later she heard a message from the twins.
„We need...“ „...some help, too!“
Shego started the engines.
„Blast, I'm trapped as well!“ called Hego. „Shego, we need you!“

„This one sentence caught my attention. It was the first time that I heard it.“

She switched the engines off and paused for a moment.

„But then I thought, they will make it, like they always do.“

She just wanted to turn on the engines again, when a loud explosion stopped her from doing this. She looked to the 'Nest' and saw a conspicuous column of smoke on its peak. Shortly afterwards a second explosion rang out, one that ripped a hole into the exterior wall.

„And in that moment, I suddenly wasn't sure anymore. They would need me and so I started to run as fast as I could.“

When Shego arrived at the scene of the crime, she got almost scared to death. Aviarius stood laughing behind a huge lasergun. Her brothers were lying motionless next to a pile of rubble, one that seemed to fill in his former appearance through one of the large holes in the wall.

„Till today I don't know what exactly happened, but all of a sudden I knew that I had to do one more thing before I left.“

„Finally, I eliminated Team Go!“ laughed Aviarius and checked the bodies of his enemies.
„Hm. They are still alive. Well, superheroes have to be robust. But... weren't that actually five?“
Right after he had asked this question, the fifth member tapped him on the shoulder and punched him. Before Aviarius could fall to the ground, Shego caught him, tossed him like in a wrestling match to the hard stone floor and kicked him for good measure one more time in the stomach.

„So, you think you are a bird,“ whispered Shego into the ear of her almost unconcious enemy. „Do you also think you can fly?“
She grabbed him by his throat, raised him up and dragged him to one of the holes in the wall.
„You tried so many times to kill us, but you never succeeded. I think it's time to show you how to do it right. Lesson number one,“ she held Aviarius by his throat out of one of the holes, „when you hit the ground, you are dead.“
And so she dropped Aviarius.
Less than a second later Hego pushed her unexpectedly aside and jumped after his arch enemy.
He managed to catch up with Aviarius, hold him, and land on his blue glowing feet. The crater that he caused was huge, but in this way, none of the two got injured by the fall.
Mego stayed and took care of Aviarius. A few minutes later came Shego with her brothers out of the building.
„What did you think you were doing?“ asked Hego with obvious disappointment in his voice.
Mego asked: „What did she think when? Could anybody be so kind to clear things up for me?“
„What do you think that I thought?“
„At what!?“
„Well, everybody can lose control from time to time, Shego. And I haven't seen it all, so maybe it looked worse to me than it was.“
„And I still don't know what happened!“
„We got...“ „...an idea.“
„What's so difficult to understand? That douche wanted to kill us. Not for the first time and I guarantee not the last time. So I wanted to clear up this annoyance once and for all!“
„But Superheroes do not kill!“ said Hego loud, but visibly anxious to repress his anger.
Mego whispered to the twins: „I think now I know what happened too.“
„Why don't we kill? He tries to kill us every week! Like the main part of the other villains we are chasing! And what happens? We slap their fingers, throw them into jail and when we meet them the next time, the game starts again!“
„Well, till now we always,--“
„You are right! Till now! How long will luck be on our side? I just tried to give us an edge.“
„But the Good will never be destroyed.“
That was the moment in which Shego's last safety line ripped.
She slapped Hego's face and yelled angry: “Wake up, you moron! Who told you that nonsense? And by the way, what makes you think that you are such a great leader, that we all have to listen to you!? What's gotten into all of you!?“
„I always thought that...“
Now she turned, still more than angry, to Mego.
„You are doing this all the time! It's all about you! Except you foul up, then it's suddenly us! And therefore, that you mess things up all the time, you still talk about yourself very often! And you two,“ now she turned to the twins, „do you always have to end each others sentences!?“
„We don't...“ „...have to.“
„But you are doing it anyway!“
Hego put his hand on his sister's shoulder.
„Shego, what,--“
„Get your hand off! I could kill every single one of you! And I mean it! Leave me alone! Just leave me alone!“
Shego pushed Hego aside and ran away. Her brothers looked stunned after her.
„Hey, brother, right now I'm scared of her as you are, but do you really wanna let her go like this?“
„Y'know Mego, I'm sure she will come back soon. We are one family and a little vacation from this life can be helpful from time to time.“
„But she is all alone.“
„Hey, you are talking about Shego. If there is one member if this family who can take care of themselves, it's her.“
„But she took our jet.“
„Yes, this is indeed not good. Looks like we have to wait for the police to take us away from here.“

„I flew back to the Go Tower, grabbed my travelbag, drew one part of the 2.5 million that I saved over the years and got into the first train I saw, without checking where it was going. I only saw my brothers again on a few occasions. Most of the time not even freely.“
„Yeah, we heard of a few,“ said Julian.
„Then I don't have to tell you more about this. When I sat in the train, one question came to my mind. What do I, as the superpowered fighting ace that I am, after I stopped living by the rules of my superhero-brothers? The answer: Whatever I want.“
