Shego went on with telling the story.
„As you can surely imagine, the thing with the truck caused a real elation inside of my siblings and me. We felt almost invincible. Well, Vince always brought us back to the ground, before we overacted. Even in the next nights, we could always interfere, before it was too late. Team Go stopped robberies and violent crimes, took care where no policeman wanted to go and always took the time, just to get a cat down from a tree. As it is usual for superheroes, one part of the people admired us, one part, and not just the criminal part, hated us and another part denied our existence. Our self esteem got a strong boost anyway. Everyone of us dealt with it on his way. Hego volunteered for everything. At school or outside of school, wherever he could find something, sometimes more sometimes less charitable, you could find him. He even helped Mr. Pink with his work as director! He just had to sort files and get some coffee, but he could call himself 'personal assistant' because of this. I still don't know how he was nonetheless able to train and save Go City at night. Mego became more I-related. Within Team Go he never pushed himself to the fore. He knew at that time that egotrips just cause damages in this job, but in his normal life, everything was just about him. School, spare time, girls, if he wasn't the center of attention, he felt bad. And I? I have to admit, that I wasn't that much better, except that I didn't care what the others thought about me. I had to, because mine and Mego's skin began to change. We became pale with a bit of our glow's color. Mego made some kind of fashion trend out of it. In the beginning of this century was some British popular sportsman. He was married to an untalented pop singer. Today nobody reminds them anymore but if the man had at that time a bad haircut, people all around the world copied it. It was similar with Mego. He was popular enough to make other students paint their faces pale-colored. Although he and I didn't wear make up. But I run off the topic. Mego always had to be the center of attention, similar with me. I've ever been an unflashy student, then I started to reach better grades. Just to show off. I registered in almost every club at school, doesn't matter if it was cool or uncool. The debating club, the chess club, even with the cheerleaders. I went there, passed the entrance test with bravery and when everybody begged me on their knees to join their club, I just left and never came back. Why? Because I was better than them! Apart from that I don't wanna bore you with stories from my time at school. Vince...what's wrong?“
Shego noticed that Julian and Washington looked disappointed at her.
„Well“, Julian said reluctant, „we would really like to hear stories from your schooldays.“
„Seriously?“
„Yes, sure.“
„Okay. No.“
10 seconds of wondering silence followed, until Julian asked: „Why not?“
„School is boring. Nothing interesting ever happened there.“
Julian shifted tensed around on his chair, like he would prepare himself to run away.
„Wasn't there anything? Not even...your first boyfriend...or so?“
„Say what!?“
A small darting flame blazed up in her hand. Julian became suddenly brave, anyway.
„The purpose of that film is to bring Shego as a human being closer to the audience, and not just as the cold crime queen, we all know from the news. There are not many things which are more human than the first love. And first love mostly happens at school.“
Shego answered unexpected calm and collect.
„I don't think that's none of anyone's business.“
„But that doesn't mean that many people don't wanna know about it. They like embarrassing stories best.“
„And I would like to cause some harm on you two.“
„Hey, I didn't do anything! He asked! I'm just handling the camera“, shouted Washington.
„Okay, I give you one short, awkward story“, Shego sighed. „It's about my first kiss.“
„Thank you very much“, said Julian and tried not to grin to much.
„Whatever. His name was Russell Carpenter. He was one of these people who always have a funny line in store, but never feel brave enough to say it loud. At most loud enough, that only the one next to him could hear it. Mostly I was the one next to him. He sat next to me, in the last row. The teacher was a weird man. He was very strict and civility and discipline were the most important things for him. One day Russel whispered something to me. A joke about this teacher. I...can't remember what he said, but it must have been great. I began to laugh. Russell too. It was embarrassing, we couldn't stop anymore.“
The teacher came slowly closer to the laughing kids in the last row.
„What is so funny?“ he asked with a hard voice.
For one second Shego stopped laughing and said: „Nothing“, just to start laughing out loud again.
The teacher looked at Russell.
„So, Carpenter, I assume that you are also laughing because of nothing.“
Russell waved his hands like mad, but couldn't say anything, because he laughed so hard. The bell rang and ended the lesson.
„Don't think that you are saved by the bell. You like to laugh? There is no reason to laugh. When you will stay in after school!“
„Russell and I failed to hear that we got detention. When the teacher intercepted us after school, our cluelessness was the reason for another 60 minutes of detention. In all that time, none of us laughed. But we grinned, when he wasn't looking.“
After - exactly to the second - 120 minutes of detention, Shego and Russell got released again into the world, outside of school.
„Hey Shego. I have to go the same way, can I come with you?“
„Why not?“
„I never had much to do with Russell. We talked now and then with each other. Smalltalk. You know. 'Hey, do you got a pencil for me?' 'How are you?' Stuff like that. He didn't get me on the nerves and he said some funny things. That was it.“
„This stupid Mr. Jeser“, said Russell. „Exploits his position of power as much as possible.“
„Well, of what avail is power if you don't use it?“
„Yes, that's true.“
„But I heard that we get rid of him, soon.“
„Really?“
„Yes, I heard he has an offer from another school. Don't know where. But definitely not here. I hope that I'll never see him again, but I will definitely run into him one day at a 'Bueno Nacho' or something like that.“
„Hm. Too bad that I won't see him go.“
„Why this?“
„My father got a new job. We're moving.“
„Oh, when?“
„Next week.“
„Wow. Do you want to go away from here?“
„No, Go City rules. We got here everything you need. There are 65 'Bueno Nachos', cinemas, arcades, 27 malls...you.“
„Yes, Go City is a what did you say?“
„Even before I realized what he was talking about, he showed it to me. He pulled me over to him and pressed his lips on mine.“ Julian and Washington sighed touched. „After I had overcome the first shock, the second one came. Russell...well, he...he was nervous. And he ate in the school cafeteria on that day. So--“
Washington opened his eyes wide.
„No way.“
„Way.“
„What?“ Julian asked. „He didn't...while he kissed you?“
Shego looked on the floor.
„Yes, he did. While he declared spontaneous his love with kissing me, his stomach was revolting that much, that he threw up all over me.“
Washington coiled his beard slowly up on his index finger and said quiet: „Yuk.“
Shego looked down on herself, while she wiped off her mouth more than disgusted.
„What have you done, you moron!?“ she yelled.
„Shego, I'm sorry, I--“
„Go away!“
She pushed him away from her. Russell took off his jacket and wanted to clean his loved one with it, but Shego just gave him a punch in his stomach. This caused another squirty emptying of it.
„Oh great, are you still not empty!? Get out of my life!“
„But--“
„You should go! Leave me alone! Get lost!“
When Russell runned with tears in his eyes away, Shego just kicked his butt one time.
„I never saw him again. He seemed to skip school on the next week and then he moved away with his family. I overacted a little, but that's what everyone would have done in my situation. I could have called him on the phone and apologize, but even then I never did this. That was the whole story. Happy?“ Julian just nodded with wide opened eyes. „Good. Let's go on. Vince achieved miracles with raising the twins. Try to teach two toddlers that they are not allowed to multiply themselves in public. Vince made it. This man was a genius. For 1 ½ years everything worked great. Then, one morning, Vince was dead.“
